Just stick it on Autotrader

People act like its a huge hassle to sell private but it really isn't. All you have to do is transfer cash over and sign a DVLA form

I might be the sole exception - I used them and they gave me a much better price than the dealer offering a trade in. Gave me exactly what was quoted and actually ignored a couple of small bits that I was sure they would knock me down on. Money in bank, job done. They obviously just quote auction latest but if you want to sell quick and no hassle I couldnt have faulted. Mine was sold out of Aylesford.

Pros - You get to sell in a short timescale with only one cunt kicking your tyres, so if you need the cash for your next purchase it's useful.

Cons - Said Cunt will take the already skinny indicative value quoted and bully get that down by 100s or even 1000s by picking out every little perceived or imagined fault whilst ignoring the service history and any paperwork.

If you know and accept that's the deal then go ahead.

I didn't.

I walked away, advertised it on Ebay and Facebook Market place, got full asking price (was expecting some haggling so had it up for £500 more than the WBAC offer) from a very nice lady.

I did a detailed walk through of the car with her, cleaned and valeted it and had a bunch of flowers for on the front seat when she collected it. As a thank you for such a pleasant transaction.

As an aside WBAC have mailed me four times since and even upped their offer until I unsubscribed.

I know of 4 or 5 mates that have used them... the so called guaranteed price is bullhsit... any tiny dent was picked up on and the price was shaved...

Just Con's Glenn they prey on the desperate !

I've never liked Phillip Schofield and for him to make money out of that advert makes me want to wring his fecking neck.
